Front axle steering swivel and hub seal replacement is not difficult or time consuming. I change them regularly in the field using common hand tools and a properly sized seal driver. Sometimes axle bearing replacement is required as well, but that isn't difficult either. Raise the front axle and see if their is excessive play in the axle bearings. If the axle/wheel wobbles much at all, bearings and prehaps more will be required.

Catastrophic outer bearing failure can be accompanied by outer hub cover breakage. Inner axle bearing failure can take out the lower swivel housing. Running for long periods with either axle bearing out can damage the lower bevel gear pair. None of this is especially common. Mainly happens due to an unresolved leaking seal. If the axle shaft isn't loose in the housing, it's probably just a seal.

Thanks, I'll be taking another look next week & hopefully it just seals. I'll post back w/ an update.
Seems to be a all around great tractor for it's size, & from what I've read they have a loyal following, surprised they were only out for a few years.
