I recently purchased an 8709 backhoe that I need to mount on an 843B, I have the mounting hooks but there does not seem to be an obvious place to mount them. I know this may not be the exact right model skid-steer for this backhoe but I have to make it work. Does anyone have an 8709 that has the hooks mounted so I can get a better idea of where they go? Maybe a pic? I've ordered an operators manual that may be a few weeks before it gets here.

Thanks

My machine is a 2008 S185 so I don't know if the loader arm configuration changed between your machine and mine. Maybe it'll help and maybe it won't. But it's free to look and worth a shot.
My hooks for a 709 backhoe had a tab that inserts into a slot and an existing pin had to be driven out and then reinserted with the hook. This is shown best in the second shot. You can see the tab. I didn't look but I believe it's bolted on from the side not visible in the pic. Hope this helps you out.
I stumbled into some luck when I bought my hoe last year. The hooks just happened to be with it. I called a friend who's the local Bobcat parts manager and he told me that those hooks just happened to be the correct ones for my machine. If memory serves me right, new ones from Bobcat would have been in the $5-600 range.
