I went with the 84" monster because most of thework will be brush, don't plan on doing much with large logs. Tractor is 78" wide and was nervous about missing stuff and messing tires up with a smaller grapple. Any advice on do's and dont's with it. Also have tons of hard heads should make a decent rock picker.
It is easy to get in trouble when loading up the grapple and hook one side on a stump/rock/whatever. You can torque your loader to where it is a major PITA to hook up your bucket or whatever.
My best advise would be to take it easy, especially until you get a feel for it. Keep your RPM's low when getting a bite so the tractor will stall or you can react before you mess something up.
