Does anybody own one of these tractors, I hear mahindra sell lots of tractors but I see none around here although the local dealer said he sold 4 last week. he didn't sell any of the bigger tractors I am looking at. I really like the looks and feel of the 8560 but cannot find any user info on it. Deer is to expensive and kobota seems to light in the pants. I will be bushhoging with a 10 foot bushhog. I have a worn out ford tractor and it is cheaper to buy new than repair. The john deere salesman said all tractors under 90 hp were made over seas. Parts for jd were made in mexaco. Said jd, mahindra, and massy had plants in india. Just looking for some reliable info.

I'd PM Wallace and see what his thoughts are on the tractor and while you got him ask him for a price.

Nod,
Since I don't know where you live, I can't even begin to guess what dealer told you he sold 4 last week. Unless, maybe, it is Dave's Tractors. I find it hard to sale 4 of any model by one dealer in a week. The 8560 is a new and improved 7520.:) I am not sure what improvements are on it. I do know the front axle and power steering are different, along with a more emission controlled:( engine. The 7520 is like my 6520:cool: with a tubro and a 17 GPM:D vs 11 GPM hyd. pump. I can't see you going wrong with a 8560.;) If you know of one used, let me know. I want one!
hugs, Brandi

I have a 7520 4x4 with around 500+ hours on it. The tractor has been great for me. I have yet had anybody show me any other tractor in its class that specs out better all around than it does. The 8560 is the new upgraded version of the 7520 and the same probably holds true for it. I would not think twice about purchasing another one if that was what I needed.

Looking at most of the reviews on the net on mahindra vs kabota or deere, most people say go with kabota or deere. I like the mahindra, it costs a lot less than a deere with more features. The same kabota is 4 thousand more. To much. What about the motors on the bigger tractors. Will they hold up, I have been to the mahindra sight several times and have read but like I said I cannot find many reviews on the big tractors. The sight says 98 percent of mahindra owners recomend mahindra tractors! Where are the 98 percent reviews hiding. Is it just hear say? Are the people ashamed they bought a mahindra. There are only two reviews on the sight and they are videos.

Hope you like those videos. Come on up and you can review for yourself. I have a 7010, 3316, and 6000.
Any company that amkes statements like 98% of customers satisfied has to have done some sort of polling to support their claim. It would be very unwise to do so without the surveying.

Is one of the videos of me:confused:, or are they all new videos. They filmed mine 3 years ago.;) 3 years? I can't believe I have had the Big RED Beast that long!
On the MahindraUSA website, click on community and then click on Life on the Farm.........Joel has a 6000, 7010, and oh darn I forgot what his little one is, I think a 3316.........or Brandi, Booger, and the Big RED Beast. These two blogs were Mahindra sponsored and have a lot to say about the bigger Mahindras.

Went there and checked the blog out. Looks like Joel maybe works for Mahindra, he is trying to sell stuff like hats, pens, shirts and the like. Where is the rest of the 97% of mahindra owners at. I emailed the company and haven"t gotten a reply yet!!! JUST LOOKING FOR PROOF? My money means a lot to me. Seems like Joel has had some problems. Cracking around the lug nuts? I have a 30 year old ford tractor that never had such a problem. It's had the double ll run out of it!!!

Cracked block on a new tractor, lucky it was in warranty. How the heck does a cast iron block crack other than no antifreeze in it. Looking for answers?

Haven't seen the 8560 but have a 7520 with about 200 hours on it. I bought a 40 hp 4005 in 1999. I did have some problems with that tractor but it appears it may have been due to operators other than myself. I had reservations about buying Mahindra again. When I went to upgrade I felt Deere was overpriced. I fully intended to buy a 70HP class Kubota but when I drove the tractors the Kubota paled in comparison to the Mahindra. The 7520 had a much heavier and stable feel. With the 4WD traction is impressive. It makes working the loader a breeze. After two years have had no significant mechanical problems. I've been very well pleased with the tractor.

On a forum like this you are much more likely to hear from the 2% than the 98%. Most people will not take the time unless they are unhappy with something. There are a few regulars on here that are happy with their tractors, but they are here regularly, because they enjoy the forum banter. The models Joel has had problems with were only resold by Mahindra and not Mahindra made tractors. I know Joel would love to have an 8560 Cab tractor. If you were to PM Joel, I am sure Joel would give you the full story about his Mahindra experience, the good and the bad.

Don,
Glad:) to hear you are happy with your 7520. My only regret:( buying my 6520 was not buying the 7520 with that 17 gpm hyd. pump!;)

Galen is right. Most tractor owners don't take the time to be here. Send me a PM with your email address and I will tell of happy Mahindra online elsewhere.

Yep. Only the 2% of people that have had problems tend to post :) I'm happy with my tractor ...I had one little problem but it didn't put me out of service until I brought it to the shop.

I will tell you this. Make sure your dealer is decent or you better to be able to fix it yourself ;)

Nod,

I have a 7250 4x4. I can think of two things I do not like. I do not like how the parking brake sets. You have to reach down and pull up a lever while you push on the brake pedal rather than being able to push down on the lever with your foot like other tractors that I have owned. Low gear/low range is too fast for my taste when trying to do some digging with the loader bucket, something that tractors are marginally good for anyway.

A couple of positives to balance my complaints: the loader is phenomenal. I am amazed when I pick up an average sized tree with my after market grapple bucket and go with it. The height that the bucket will reach to is about as good as it gets.

It is big time mud season where I live. I can usually get my loaded FL70 and trailer into the barn but no way can I drive it back up the grade to get it out. With my wife at the wheel and the truck in neutral, the 7520 has no problem pulling the 20k plus rig out of the mud.

By the way, do you already own the 10 foot brush hog? I hate the one I have. Always digging into the ground with it. I wish I had my 15' batwing I used to have.

/ 8560 4WD #18
Give that 7520 a try on a 15' batwing, I think you will be surprised how well it will handle it. It has been done before.

Thanks for the info, yes I have the 10' bushog. If I didn't I would go with the same tractor you have and a 8' hog. My hog has the 1000 speed pto, that is one reason I am looking at the 8560.

OK, here's my testimonial...I like my 6000....wouldn't trade it for anything else. How's that?
PS: Since my 6000 is now about 8 years old ('02 model), and I was one of the first to have one, they asked me to do the "blog" thing as well. I didn't really want to..regards, BobG in VA
