Tires 850 rear wheels

My rear wheels are rusted thru, been repaired twice, need new ones. They are 16" 6 lug with turf tires. Any ideas on new ones? Do any of the Yanmar wheels fit? I know the 750,850, and 950s are the same but not sure about any other John Deere compacts. Any help would be great. Thanks,Andy D.

I repaired some front rims for a neighbour. The dealer had put fluid in the tires and over time the rims rusted through. I went to an automotive wrecker and bought some car rims that were the same diameter and width. I cut the centers out of the rusted through rims and welded them into the automotive rims. I painted them and mounted new tires on and he was back in business.

16 inch rims aren't hard to find at an automotive wrecker. You might have trouble finding rims wide enough.

Without you telling us the size of your tires it's hard to know for sure but it looks like the part number for your rims is CH18196. Doing a "where used" search in John Deere's parts shows that part number is used on 650,750,850,950 and 1050 CUT's. So there's a start.

A quick Google search for that part number shows some new rims available but they are pretty pricy at $267 -$315 per rim.

Some tire shops sell aftermarket rims. You might be able to find something there.
