850/950/1050 ROPS

I seem to remember someone recently asking where to get a ROPS for an 850 or 950 or 1050. Here is one <font color="blue"> on Ebay </font>

The ebay listing seems to be for the rollbar only. The ROPS kit, which is still available new from JD for about $400, includes all the mounting hardware, spacers and studs for the fenders, and a seatbelt assembly. Also, the ROPS for the 850 and 950 are different, according to jdparts.com. I bought a kit from JD when I got my 850 about six years ago (the kit was only $360 then) and it took a Saturday afternoon to put it on. JD has always has a company philosophy that they sell ROPS kits at cost, so it'll be the most cost effective purchase you ever make from JD.

Another interesting fact: JD patented the ROPS. They make its use royalty free to other manufacturers, because they won't profit from safety...

Good point about making sure it includes all the mtg hardware. I also bought one for my 950 from Deere about 5 yrs ago for about the same price and installed it myself.
