790 clutch not engaging

I have a JD 790 tractor. Performed routine mainetenance on it yesterday. Pressure washed it and then parked it. Went to load it on the trailer today and the clutch doesn't work. Any ideas

Doesn't work as in slipping or Maybe rusted and not releasing? In the latter case ,maybe try pulling the tractor in high range ,high gear while someone holds down the clutch petal. Hope others have ideas too.
