7710 ford

i need some help , gt 7710 cab tractor i am geting hyd. fliuld in the bell housing area i put selioniond on that makes dual power work an i ck the vale an it is not leaking what else is there in there that can be leaking i know it supose to be dry in there. it will leak 3 or 4 gallon in there real quick can anyone tell me whats going on .

you better take the tractor to the shop.that is a big prob that your dealing with.

Sound a like a rear seal separating the clutch housing with the tranny, which is connected to the rear axle witch is full of oil, should be able to get to it by splitting the tractor, then taking the dual power drive out

Edit* just had a read of your other posts if your dual power is not working, sound like your problem might be there, the two are probably linked

Agreed with Andrewnewy, we split our 7710 last year all the way, pulled cab, what a job, but worth it, deffinately sounds like rear seals to me. Unfortunately that means pulling cab, linkage, ptetty much everything to access it. Might as well check those cultch packs as long as your going in that deep. Job. Seals are easy enough though... Once your in there. ;-)
