Hey 7520 owners could you tell me how you like your engine? I am comparing the 7010 with the Mahindra engine basically the same as the 7520 engine and the TYM/Montana that use the deere engine. Just wanted to know the good and the bad about the engine. Fuel consumption? Power? Noise/Vibration? Have you driven your tractor on the road? Does it pull hills well? My 6000 just seems to lug down too far under load on a hill thus requiring downshifting or just almost coming to a stop on hills? How's the 7520 do?Would you recommend this engine for a agricultural type use? I'll have more questions I am sure but all for now.

jwcinpk, I have never run out of power with my 7520 /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif, only traction /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif. When my engine seems to lug down a little, I just step on the throttle and it picks right up. I suppose if you were going up a steep enough hill you should shift down a gear. The turbo makes a big difference on the character of an engine. Of course you can always overload any engine and it will stall. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
Good luck
Brian
