The fuel guage on my B7500 remains on full constantly, even after over two hours of usage. Anyone have this problem or know how to solve it. I guess I could approximate fuel usage by the hour meter, but it sure would be inconvenient. Thanks for any help.

call your dealer. there is a simple fix, but i cannot recall what it its. the gauge has and adjustment in the tank. took my dealer 5 min. once the new i had a problem. they are soposed to be adjusted when they build them up i think.

2 hours is not a lot and at what rpm's/work load,???
Mine doesn't do much untill about 3or 4 hours on full tank then drops like a ford truck!

Btw How much fuel is left in the tank after your described 2 hours??? That will tell you if in fact you have an error in your gauge!

I had the same problem. Found a mouse nest made of wire insulation. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Removed nest and everything fine now. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks everyone for the help. I'll check all this out and post again if I find the problem.

I can generally mow for a couple of hours on a full tank and the guage stays full the majority of the time, but it seems normal since when it gets to 3/4, 1/2 it seems correct with what's in the tank..... Never ran out, yet...but been close and the needle close to E.
