750 John deere

I'm looking at a 1987 John Deere with 770 hrs. Tractor is very clean with terf tires. They are asking 3,500 they are telling me this is under priced. I'm also looking at a 1978 kubota L-175 with 618 hrs for same price very clean. The kubota comes with a bush hog that is a year old. Witch one is a better deal or is either one of them a good deal

Welcome to TBN. Most of here keep our rural driveways, plow snow, move dirt, manure, cut grass and a lot of us garden, big time.

When I started out looking, I also thought maybe I could get by with a tractor without power steering, no loader, simple draw bar, 2 wheel drive, etc.

But, after having a modern compact tractor or two? I don't believe I'd settle. That's just me. I believe I'd want it all. I'd not pay much attention to what color it is, but judge each machine on its individual value. Happy shopping.
