Backhoe 74 Case 540CK won't move

I have a 1974 Case 540CK backhoe which was working fine until recently when it would hesitate to move in forward and reverse even after being warmed up. Now it will not move at all in forward and when in reverse it will move very slow, then surge back and stall the engine. I checked the transmission fluid and the level is good. The transmission pressure gauge is in the red, and does not move up.

Try searching the problem.. theres a screen/filter in the bottom of the trans/shuttle & can be cleaned by drilling a hole in the bottom of the case..
But u better get better instructions.. theres a specific PLACE u have to drill inorder to get to it..

Is there any other way to access the screen to clean it? I have not been able to find any instructions online for drilling a hole in the case.

I am guessing that a plugged screen is the problem since I discovered that the cover for the breather is missing.
