Cub Cadet 7360SS
Got a little bored this afternoon. Just uploaded a few pictures of my 1999 Cub 7360ss

Not sure how to put a link here to them but they are in the photo section. Search for 7360 and I think they will come up ok.

Took a few shots this fall from some different angles if anyone needs a few reference shots to work from. I bought this spring of 2006 with 130 hours on it. Added a woods 1012 series loader and 5' Woods brush bull rotary cutter, 6' box scraper and 6' scraper blade. This thing has sure made life a little easier.

Enjoy!

Really nice looking tractor! It still looks brand new! Thanks for the pics.... I've always liked the looks of those Cubs.

Very sharp looking tractor. Are they made by the Daedong Corp from S. Korea? It looks like about a 40 hp?

36 base hp. Motor/trans by Mitsubushi. I checked the specs when purchased, and this thing weighs almost 1000 lbs more than a similar hp Kubota. Same or better hydrolic pump volume as a 43 HP Kubota, and a respectible lift capacity on the 3-point rear hitch. I've had some success moving 5 foot round hay bales with the rear 3-point if the loader stays on the front for weight. It does have liquid in the rear tires for added weight.

You can see the heavy cast iron axles and 4wd gear hubs in the front from the pics. I was a little afraid of the loader mounting points breaking from some of the posts read here, but that was from the 72xx series tractors. I've probably abused this thing from some perspective over the last year, but it has not missed a beat. I just hope Yamar or whoever builds the 7000 and 8000 series in the future can match this tractor.

Enjoy!

Our local McCormick dealer sells Cub Cadet. He told me that the two biggest models of the Cub are made by Daedong Corp. (Kioti) and that's why I wondered if it was the biggest model. Cub has a 45 hp tractor that is a twin to the older DK 45 Kiotis except for the paint. A 1999 model with only 130 hrs is something else, that's only about 18 hrs a year usage. Good Luck, you sure do have it looking nice.

Yes, Daedong took over production from Mitsubitshi sometime around 2001? I think. I really like the Mitsu seems really well built. I guess I was lucky to find this one at an estate sale. It was only used for brush cutting all it's life on a hill behind a personal residence. It has about 170 hours on it now. Probably not even broke in yet.

There is a very nice CC 7360SS for sale on eBay right now. Take a look.
I already own one and don't need a second. (I have no interest direct or indirect in that auction).

I wonder what they have for a reserve? That would be a pretty good buy with low hours for someone in the TX area.

nice machine. The 7360 SS is (IMHO) the best machine to ever come out of MTD/Cub Cadet/

I wonder why that Cub on Ebay didn't sell that is listed above?

From my own perspective, when I began the search for my first compact, all I was looking for was a Kubota. That's all I knew about, all I saw at dealers in my area, (in the size I wanted). The Cub dealers in my area just didn't put a cub in the 7000 or 8000 series on their lots.

I just happened upon mine at an estate sale. I had no idea cub (mtd) made a compact in the size I needed?

I would bet if you compared the searches by keyword on Ebay for Kubota vs Cub, the cub searches would be almost non-existent for that size tractor. Just my guess.

Someone sure missed out on a nice tractor if their reserve was even close to the opening bid.

As others have said on this forum, I really did not care about the resale opportunity for my cub since I plan on having it for a long time. It's a shame MTD does not do a little more advertising. I still think they make a pretty good product. Have not heard much chatter on this board about the Daedong engines/trans. I suppose they are holding up ok.

From what I've read and heard Daedong is making engines for Mitsubitshi so I imagine they are holding up well. Daedong made the first water cooled diesel back in 1949, some people look at them as a new company but they really are not. They have been selling compacts in this country for about 20 years. Our local Case dealer sold Cub compacts but dropped them, our McCormick dealer sells them now and says they are a well built sturdy tractor.

My Cub dealer told me about this tractor i was looking for a Kabota, Its a 8404 Cub. with a Daedong engine or better known as a Kioti DK40. The mechanics shop told me that Daedong also made the Kabota engines for many years before they started making their own engines. any way this tractor is a real strong machine it is used 100% for bush hogging and has never showed any signes of stress or weakness.
This tracter has 600 hours of busshogging now and its never had any mechanical problems.

Wow, that is a nice looking tractor. I looked at the one in Ponder (the E-bay ad), and that looked like a deal. I have seen a few small CC's at Tractor Supply around here, but nothing like that. Only ones I've seen have been ZTR mowers.

Looks like a great machine. The seat looks much more comfortable than my '99. How much HP is the 8404?

Its got 40hp, I was bush hogging 2 days per week or about 12 hours and the stock seat was killing me so i got a suspention seat from Tractor Supply and now its much better, i got the original seat put away till i need it.
JimR, since you already have the full cab you should get the AC system put on it. If i could offord it thats what i would do. mine has all the holes drilled in the frame already for the cab unit and AC on the front. I work for a City public water works and the 580 CASE back hoe i use has AC and heater and it is so nice its like your not even at work when your driveing it.

I can live without the AC. My cab has a removable door. The right side and rear have curtains that snap right off. AC would spoil the heck out of me. If my cab was all steel and glass I would consider that option. I surely don't know where on the motor there would be room for a compressor.

Hi all,new guy here...I just bought a 7360ss .It is a 2002 model year and is supposed to be delivered to me Monday. I have read a lot of good reviews and am hoping it lives up to the hype. I have owned several Kubotas and a Massey Ferguson gc2130 among others. I have been trying to find some specs and dimensions on the 7360ss,but it is hard to find info on it. I liked the looks of it and after looking at reviews decided i had to have it. Supposed to snow here tomorrow(Sunday),so i may have to wait for mine .
