Does anyone happen to have the part number for the glow plugs on the 7360? I'd prefer the Mitsubishi part numbers, but will take Cub numbers if you have it. Thanks

The Cub part number is MA-31A66-13200. I believe Cub justs adds the MA in front of the Mitz part number to make their own, but i'm no 100% sure. They retail for about $30.00 each.

31A66-13200 is the correct part #. They are 35.00 X 4= 140.00. After installing them a controller on the firewall was the problem. Part #31A66-15100 $65.00. Just like MasterCard not starting "priceless". The controller was bad and a caused the glow plugs to fry. You might have a controller problem. That fries glow plugs.

i have 7360 with 450 hrs, it starts extremely hard ; like the glows aren't working. the glows are getting power. is there a test for the controller? thanks

In my case all 4 glow plugs went bad and tractor would not start on a warm day. With 400hours this should not happen. I checked and the plugs were getting fire but tractor won't start. Checked resistance on each plug and they were bad. 4 glow plugs don't go bad at the same time. The controller times voltage to the plugs and turns it off and on. If the controller stays on too long fried plugs, no voltage no start. Controller is on the firewall 1"X1'" black box. Orange light on dash works with this, on and off and sends the volts heats the plugs and she starts. In my case and maybe yours, plugs got fried. I never had a hard start just a no start. No way glow plugs should go bad in 400 hours. I bought the dealer service manuel and it tells me how to rebuild the injector pump, but not a simple thing like glow plug test. In the last 50 hours no problems. I still love both cubs! 7265 & 7360ss

thanks for the info . the glow plugs were dead . i've ordered new plugs in addition to the controller. now i'd like to pick your brain on other issues; first ,were you able to find the service manual on-line? second, the shuttle shift has always been very stiff and in fact will freeze in cold weather so obviously has moisture in it. i've tried lubricating the cable to no avail. the dealer shrugs his shoulders. Other the the starting ,shifting, split transmissioncase, broken spur gears in the front drive, and broken backhoe subframe its works fine . thanks again for your halp

Just as a way of capturing the information, after about a half-hour of searching, I found that the CC 7360SS is the equivilent of the Mitsubishi model # MT368. That may give us a wider variety of parts sources.

The manuals I bought from the dealer. They have a choice of two, I bought one of each, the shop manual included the small. I have had one other problem, the pin that locks the slide fork that locks locking differential popped out. I was able to find this with a magnetic in the bottom of the rear. Not a hard job to replace but took some time. I was impressed with how nicely painted the inside of the rear was. The mounting surfaces were well machined. Looked a lot higher quality on the inside than the outside. Shuttle Shift works great, but sometimes is a little tight. If you find a cure please post. $65.00 was the price of large shop manual. Not much on glow plugs in this manual. Was helpful in replacing pin for locking differential.

the new glow plugs and controller did the job.It starts good. I guess it's on to the shuttle shift problem next.

Ken, where did you buy yours and what did they cost? Looks like mine are gone also. Ziggy won't start below about 55 degrees ambient. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Of course, with all this rain, I'm just going to mount pontoons. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I bought them at Lewis farm equip. in warren; tel 273 2714.I'm going over tomorrow to pay for them so i'll let you know the price after. they are NGK products so they me be available from other sources; although i could'nt find them online. There is also a relay in the circuit but i didn't change it as the plug and controller replacement did the job. I may have to take the boat to get there.

Have any of you guys with the glow plug problem noticed anything before having the hard starts? Lately, I've been noticing the glow plug light flickering randomly while the 7360 is running. No hard starts though.

Wonder if I can nip this in the bud before my plugs go (if they aren't fried already)...

Not me. Mine probably started with one plug going out. It became a little harder to start, but always started. Then I must have lost the controller, because it just will not start if the ambient temp is below 55 F. The glow plug idiot light has been on solid for a couple months. Occasionally, it will go out, but never flickered.

The random glow plug lighting happened to me for about a year. I checked the glow plugs and all were good, no hard starting. I guessed it was a flook. Then the random lighting went away and the light worked proper. Then one day no start in warm temp. Checked and replaced all four glow plugs all were bad. Four plugs don't go bad at once. After replacing starting was great BUT the the light came back. The controller was replaced and end of story. Replace your controller now before you buy new plugs then the controller. Each time the light lights power goes to the plugs.

Wow. Thanks for the insight Chubby! We broke a hose on the backhoe, so I'll have the dealer replace the controller and check the plugs when they fix the hose.

Thanks a lot!

Interesting subject. I have the 7234, Mitsubishi Cub and I have never seen the light or glowing when you go to the pre-heat position. It has always started, takes a while sometimes in our cold Maine winters but I've never had a warm and fuzzy the pre-heat function works.

So you never see the light on the dash light up and then go out when you put the key in that first position?

/ 7360 Glow Plugs #18
When you say first position, I'm trying to think about that. On mine you turn the key backwards to the left, kind of like the accessory position on some cars, and I understood that was a "pre-heat' position.

Oh. That's different than mine. Mine has the first position to the right as pre-heat or glow plugs on, then run, then start.
