2003 new holland tc 33
I have a tc33 with a 7308 loader, the tilt down is seized up, it will good up curl back to not curl down. Has anyone fixed this issue. I have never had a control valve apart.

Make sure hydraulic quick connections are fully seated.

I went through a similar situation but with lowering the loader boom. It wouldn’t lower except for when I put it in the float position.

When I call the valve manufacturer Prince they said that the couplers could be the problem. However, I swapped the lines to lift the boom with the bucket till lines. When I did that the issue followed the boom lift lines that were then on curl cylinders and I could NOT move the bucket in one direction (added for clarity).

I had to replace the valve to fix it.

I left out switching the lines (in pairs) is a great way to know if the valve is the issue. If the problems follows the lines it’s the valve. If it doesn’t then it another issue.

Maybe I'm just not following your description, but if the problem follows the lines, doesn't that mean it's not the valve? If curl down is not working and he switches those lines to the lift function on the valve and the curl down still does not work, the problem has followed the curl lines, indicting that it was not the curl section of the valve that was causing the issue.

If one has two circuits #1 and 2 and number one is on valve number one and two is on valve two. If you move the lines from one to valve two and the issue goes with the lines the valve is the same and so it is the issue.

Think of it this way valve one is the boom lift circuit and valve two is the bucket curl circuit. In the move the lift valve will control the curl and the curl valve will now control the curl cylinder(s).

Like others have said I would disconnect, clean, and reconnect the lines. If it persists, I would swap the lines to determine if it is the valve or some other issue such as a bad hydraulic line or cylinder. It looks like the valve is not serviceable and NH has discontinued the valve, but maybe Messick's has another source if it is the valve. That valve fits 19 models so you might also find one in a tractor salvage yard.
