I left out switching the lines (in pairs) is a great way to know if the valve is the issue. If the problems follows the lines it’s the valve. If it doesn’t then it another issue.I went through a similar situation but with lowering the loader boom. It wouldn’t lower except for when I put it in the float position.
When I call the valve manufacturer Prince they said that the couplers could be the problem. However, I swapped the lines to lift the boom with the bucket till lines. When I did that the issue followed the lift lines.
I had to replace the valve to fix it.
Prince said there’s nothing rebuildable in my valve.Has anyone ever taken the control valve apart?
