The fuel gauge on my Cub Cadet 7205 recently started reading about half of what's in the tank (full tank reads 1/2 tank, 1/2 tank reads 0).
I cleaned all the contacts/grounds that I can find and ohmed the sending unit. It reads from about 16 ohms to 116 ohms when the float is moved from one extreme to the other. That about right?
How can I check the fuel guage itself? Any ideas on other things to check?
