72\" Mid Mount Mower Price

There is a 72" MMM in the paper for sale (as part of a tractor/loader/BH/snowblower/brush hog package).
I'm going to call and see if he's interested in separating the MMM, for my 4310.

How much do they run new or used?

(What I really want is the BH /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif)

List on a NEW 72 MMM is $3361. probably buy a NEW MMM for $2500 with a little negotiation. Depending on the condition of a used MMM, I am thinking $1000-1500. What are you thinking?

I had no idea - and your post confirmed it!

I was thinking new was about $1500, and used would be $700-900. Well we'll see if he even wants to split it up.

If he knows anything about the value of his implements, and if they are in good condition, I wouldn't look for it south of $1,800.

There a couple different versions of the 72" MMM - yellow and green. One is heavier built than the other.

Also - do you have all the attachment parts to use with the mower along with the hydrolics to control it?

May want to check with your dealer on your tractors requirements.

I doubt you could negotiate the new price down to $2500 (25% discount) You might negotiate 10% off new price. Does the price include the mounting brackets and hydraulic lift kit? These are usually priced seperately.

You will also need the 3rd SCV on the 4310 to raise and lower the MMM. You may be able to use the 3PH as a cheaper alternative but that interferes with use of other implements.

If the seller is willing to separate the MMM from the package, I bet you are looking at $2500 assuming the MMM is in good condition. MMMs aren't cheap.

I have the 3rd SCV on my 4310, so no problem there.

I haven't been able to contact the seller but if he was willing to separate I would think he'd include what was necessary-as long as it wasn't needed for any other attachment.

Even if the seller is not willing to break it out now, you can let him know you are interested in case he finds a buyer that does not want the MMM.

Absolutely, the seller will have my phone #, and I'll ask him to pass it on the the buyer, just in case he finds he doesn't need it.
