7000+ hours on MF 253

Looking at a MF 253 which ticks all the boxes except for the high hours 7k. AFAIK it has never had the head off, uses no oil and blows no smoke under load.

It has only done light duty at a golf club since new (has turf tires on).

Any thoughts on how long these engines can go with decent service history?
What about fuel system, hydraulics transmission etc?

My 390 has 7000 too and never been open !

has it done much hard work?
Has the power dropped off much over the years,do you see any signs of engine wear yet?

A lot of hard work , It pulls semi-trailers with 15 ton on them all summer, it is showing quite a bit of blowby now when warm ...pulls better than it used to
