685 case ih tractor loader help

Have a case IH 685 tractor that I need to remove the loader and old kontak joystick (leaks badly). Do I plug the 2 hoses going to the kontak loader control (spools) or Tye them to together. Need to use it for mowing while i try to get the control fixed.

I believe you have a open center system. You definitely will want to tie the hoses together and not plug. If you plug your pump will deadhead and there might not be a relief valve as it may come off with the loader.
