6500 Disc harrow size

I posted on attachments the following, didnt get any replies, so gonna try it here as well....

I am looking for suggestions on the size of a pull-type disc harrow for a Mahindra 6500 4wd. I would like something that doesnt make the tractor work at max apacity, but will still get the job done. I am thinking a 7.5 ' tandem. I have researched the kk and howse and other than that most of what i see are the plains type huge equipment. I may have to settle for a 3 pt rig, but would prefer the wheeled, drag type. thanks, chuck

Swiftboot, Your 6500 is a good sized tractor, a 10' disc would be easy work for it.

Thanks for the reply. I also got several responses on the attachemnts folder. My neighbor has several discs so i will try to borrow one or two and see which works best for my needs. Thnaks, chuck
