6500 4WD is ordered! YAHOOOOOOO! Even lower price!

I DID IT! CAN I YELL?

YABBA DABBA DOOOOOOO!!!! I'm happier than a hog in poop mud!

My first tractor has officially been ordered. A new Mahindra 6500 4WD with 265 FEL w/ SS QA w/ front and rear tires filled. New lower price $22,943 delivered. A deal I just couldn't pass up.

My thanks to Chase Vaughan of TTR in LaGrange, GA. If you are even remotely close to LaGrange... this is the fella to call on. I believe Chase did me right with a great price. He will be picking the unit up from the Mahindra plant in Georgia with a scheduled delivery set for next Wednesday to my home. Hopefully all will go well and I'll be styling and profiling in about a week.

I can hardly wait. Hmmm... it's time for some vacation scheduling.

Sure been fun watching your buying process; looks like you spent a little work and had a lot of fun doing it....not as much as you'll have with the tractor though! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Sure found a powerful tool too [TBN] /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

If I'm reading right you even got him to throw in the QA for the price. I have no idea on how Mahindras price out, but like another poster said about a different brand recently: if you liked the price, on the tractor you wanted, you got a good deal.

Only one thing left........WE WANT PICTURES!!!! errr, when it comes in that is....ohhh, before and after muddy too! Get that vacation time planned! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Actually I found a new dealer and got the tractor w/ QA and saved $907 ta boot! It was the last dealer on my list wihin my shopping radius and it paid off to finish the list.

My toy... errh, I mean my tractor... was delivered today as scheduled. Chase was very knowledgeable and nice. Did not get a chance to test it any because not long after we got it unloaded and went over everything it started a downpour, then shortly after it was time to get ready for church. No pics yet but I'll be taking off tomorrow... going to pick up my Tufline box blade in the morning and when I get back it will be time to do a little testing, getting used to everything for the first few days, etc... that is if it doesn't rain again early on. It's been raining every day (mostly afternoons) for the last 2 months... maybe we've had a couple of days with no rain but I sure don't remember which they were.

I spent about 3 hours today on my 6500... was well pleased but I've still got some gettin' used to it to do. I hooked the chains to the FEL and lifted my box blade out of the truck bed and lifted the bushhog off the trailer. Fiddled with the FEL a little and cut for about 2 hours... maybe 2.5 and had a blast. Tractor and cutter did extremely well.
