I have a 6420 that I recently bought and now the switch to the electronic joystick for the loader is gone bad,and on another forum I was given a number to a switch that will work, but my problem is I took the joystick off but not sure how to get the knob off so I can get to the switch,do any of you know how to do this.

Log onto JDParts and review the part's schematic for the joystick. If you can look at the "exploded" diagram for the joystick, you might get a much clearer idea of how to finish taking it apart -- as well as putting it all back together!! :thumbsup:

I think it's retained by set screw thats been sealed with a filler you need to dig out to access the set screw.
