64 ford 2000 4cyl gas hydraulic lift system

hydraulic lift will not pick up. removed upper housing from lower to see if piston was stuck.it appears to be at least i cant move it.is there a way to free it up. ive tapped on it with a wood mallet with no luck. is there any other common reason for this to happen. also i have replaced all o rings

REMOVE CHECK VALVE AND BLOW AIR . DONT STAND IN FRONT WHEN APPLYING AIR AS THE PISTON WILL HURT YOU.

very probably the unloader valve stuck. it's a common issue.

if this happens again.. post back before taking the top cover off.

i have removed unloader valve cleaned and replaced o ring. control valve,piston& all spools associated with it.all o rings have been replaced. will be installing lift plate soon will let you know. thanks for input
