605 vermeer

can anyone tell me if these hayroller are good,it has a hydrauic tie and i would like to put the bale monitor on it an i hear that i have got to change to eletric, i was wondering how hard it would be to change.(2001 vermeer 605 xl had 1550 rolls put through her)

I don't know how hard it is to change out, but I would think it would be expensive. I would call a Vermeer dealer and price out the parts first. Personnally, I would just run with the hydraulic tie or look for a baler with a monitor.

Or if you are close enough to me I could come take thaat old baler off your hands. Would not want you to get stuck with something you did not want.

i just traded for it i have a john deere 557 good roller i am going to sell it i guess ,dont no much about a vermeer , but if it can roll hay like the deere can it will be alright.
