So after a weekend of heavy mowing, the three point hitch on my 5065E won't lift the mower. It has plenty of hydraulic fluid in it. The loader still works and will pick the front of the tractor up off the ground. The third outlet still works as it should. With no weight on the 3-point hitch it raises and lowers fine while the tractor is running. When I shut it off, the arms drop fast as seen in the video. I assume the same hydraulic pump powers all three. I assume that I've blown an o-ring or a filter is clogged. Has anyone else had this issue? Any advice on what to take apart first?

do you have the draft control knob adjusted to far to the sensitive side?

If you pull the 3pt all the way back and then pull the draft control back does it do anything? When messing with it is the draft lever all the way forward? If it's neither of those than my guess would be the linkage might need to be adjusted. I've been down this road. I'm sure it's something simple

On mine it was the little knob that controls the up/down speed of the 3-point. It somehow got turned all the way to the off position.

In the video it appears similar to when draft control is in "float". I have a 5093e and think our set up is similar. Maybe cycle position control, draft position and rate of drop knob , each ,from each extreme. If a bypass valve is hanging open then it MAY cycle through the pressure and flow rate changes. When I use rotary cutter in 540e for extended time my draft control knob loosens and migrates back. Good luck.

Four comments about the Draft control float. I'll be checking this tonight. I truly hope it is this simple.

It's sure worth a shot if it fixes the problem!

As suggested, I went home last night and tightened the draft float screw. And the 3 point picked up as it should. Thanks for the replies, this issue is closed. Happy tractoring.
