590 new holland baler

I have a 590 new Holland 1999 baler that says on the monitor that the sheer pin is broken but i have replaced that .I it does this under heavy hay load but does not show this error under light load or on idle . What is the fix here any body thank you BUDDY 2019

Is there a slip clutch on the pick-up

I've got a 849 roll baler. I had to take the clutch off of and clean it. Then polished it all up with Emory cloth because it was slipping. If your baler is telling you the pick-up pin is sheared that's where I would look. If it's the drive line I would check the pto clutch. I don't know where that particular baler has sensors but, it has to be a clutch or a sensor.
