I have found water in my hydrolic oil. I need to replace it all and was wondering what needs to be done to make sure it is all removed. I have drained it but am not sure if it's out of the power steering, 3pt lift, ect... Also I was wndering if this is the same oil that is in the trans. and if I need to drain it too.
Thanks, MSY

I would change the hy-tran fluid and filter for as you suspected for it is the same fluid as used in your hydraulics. It is also the very same fluid that gives you wet brakes on that particular tractor so above all don't let the brakes wear to metal or the metal shavings will get into your pump and you'll be in store for some hard times. I had one and that lift was a BEAR to rebuild.
