3-Point Hitch 5620 PTO woes

Hi everyone,
I have a 5620 and have some problems with PTO operation. Whilst slashing any touch off the foot clutch stops the PTO. If driving in reverse and then clutching to go forward PTO stops. Also 3 point linkage acts up and won't move. Seems related, am I missing a switch or button that sets these things, Going nuts, constantly restarting PTO. Please help Deon from Australia.

To the forum from Alabama. Does the PTO restart when you let the clutch out? If so, then that is normal.

No I have to switch the PTO off and back on to restart.

Not familiar with the 5x20 series but my 4520 ehydro can change directions without turning the pto off.
