Backhoe 555A Engine Sleeved or not?

Can someone tell me if a 201 diesel engine in a 555A is sleeved?
Mine has a hole somewhere between the water jacket and the crankcase.

no they was not sleeved from the factory

I bought this used and I see what I think are flanges at the top of the cylinders. Does a factory (un-rebuilt) engine show what look like flanges?

Those are probably marks made by the fire rings in the head gasket.

I've got a service manual we are just getting ready to put on e-bay at the store, I'll check it in the morning but not to many ford engines run sleeves.

I did check the manual sold yesterday, your block is not sleeved.

You can have a machine shop cut and install a dry sleeve for you to fix your issue.

G'day just be absolutely sure you are on the right track before you sleeve it as these engines have a bad habit of cracking from the oil galleries into the water jackets, i have seen many attempts at repairing them and have yet to see one succeed, sorry to tell you this but it usually means a new block
