Oil & Fuel 5525 Fuel Gauge - Hosed up

Anybody else have issues with their fuel gauge. Was reading 1/4 tank so I topped it off. It now reads 3/4 tank until I start the tractor then it reads 1/2. Maybe some bouncing around in the a pasture will make it work right. I am thinking bad sender or a bad ground.

I think you are on the right track Darin. Lots of people have had problems with these fuel guages and I expected to have them also. So far mine is accurate though that may change.

Had an issue with the guage on a 5205. Fuel level was fluctuating and while checking it out I noticed a leak around the sending unit. Wound up replacing the broken sending unit. Replacing fixed the leak and the guage worked fine. My only guess was a limb popped up and broke it.
