5525 2nd and 3rd valve hard to get lines into the valves

5525 john deere cab model when cutting hay with krone conditioner/cutter very difficult to hook lines into vlaves sometimes take as much as 30 minutes
struggling to hook them up . once they connect all works well. it also is very difficult to unhook these lines works with no problems on 5420 deere anyone

If this is the only implement you have issues with, change out the couplers on the implement.

Problems going in May be pressure buildup in the lines. Push the coupler face against a flat surface until it depresses the ball. If it is pressure build up, oil will shoot out. It should connect easy then. To disconnect, try shutting 5420 off and moving SCV lever to remove line pressure and then push in and yank back.

I wonder if coupler attachment problem was why JD changed the type of breakaways on a 5525.
