5520, how wide?

Can one of you 5520 owners tell me how wide this tractor is at it's widest point? I have a trailer that's 84 inches inside the fenders and need to know if it will fit.

The answer to your question depends entirely on the tire and wheel options and track setting on the particular tractor you intend on hauling. If your 84" wide trailer is rated for 7000 lbs as mine is, a 5520 is probably going to overload it weight wise.

How long is the trailer?
How much weight is it rated to haul?
What do you toe it with?

trailer is 24' and rated 14000lb, pulling with 1ton dually. Any idea what the range of width's might be?

The range would be from the possible to not gonna happen. Sounds kinda flip, but that's the truth. I used to run a 5520 4x4 with 16.9x30 rears. Before I changed the tread width, it would have fit your trailer. After, it would not.

It is going to be very tight. My 5420 (identical tractor except for the turbo is missing) measures in at 80" front and rear with 16.9-30" bias ply on the rear and 11.2-24" on the front.

Sounds like a 90'' would be better or even 96 inches.

I may be wrong but I think its possible to configure it down to about 74-76"???

Link to operator manual. It measures from centerline to centerline. Might want to take a tape measure or ask seller what it measures but it is configurable.

FYI, depending on how you have your 5520 balasted, you might be right on the limit of the trailer. My 5420 MFD ISO station with FEL, loaded rears, dual wheel weights and front weight bracket weighs in at 10,200.
