55 Series 3ph late model retrofit?

I have an 89 JD855 and in the technical manual it says the later models or early models with a retrofit have a greater 3-point lift capacity. My question is, what is the retrofit? JD Parts catalog doesn't seem to show a difference. Does anyone here know what the retrofit was? Different lower lift arms to change the geometry?

A guy wants to splurge on the EA 48" aerator but she weighs 850lbs!

855 owner could drill holes a little closer in draft arms towards implement attaching balls to increase 3 pt lift capacity a small %. Relocating holes in draft arms would change 3 pt hitch maximum & minimum lift heights. I noticed rockshaft piston part # had a substitute(11A or 11B)
