Mowing 54D Mower deck belt problems

I have a 2320 with the 54d deck. The deck is two years old. I have already had to replace the belt on the deck, and by the looks of it I will have to replace it again soon. It is used to cut a lawn. There is nothing stuck under the ramps. I can not determine why I am chewing up belts. I was hoping someone might have some insight.

Its hitting something stationary (look for rub marks), it's mis-routed (there should be a diagram on the deck or in your manual), or there is a nick or a scratch or a tear on the pulley or idler or sheave surfaces. What's the failure mode? stretched, ripped, rubbed, smoked, eroded or tired.

A picture would help the analysis, show the deck, too with covers off. Show a closeup of the belt where its fraying.

I've had issues in the past where there were two different sizes of sheave on the tractor: a 3/4" on the clutch and a 5/8" on the mower deck. You just can't satisfy that combination.

It is routed correctly. The belt the first time had town apart, and was fraying on the top side showing the intenal belt. When I was checking the pillows I removed the black pillows. On one of the is didit was not assembled correctly. The bushing for the pully was installed upside down. The dealer gave me some extra bushimgs and I put it back based on what looked like a proper spacing. I will try and upload some pictures.
