5400 spider

Hi all, I just discovered that the spiders (u-joints in my world!) for the MFWD need replacing. I was shocked that these cost $175 or so (part number RE45940). Does anyone know a cheaper alternative? If so, would you have a part number? Thanks.

Thanks Jim. The $175 I was talking about is Canadian dollars, but the price provided is a little cheaper once converted. However, I need 4 (2 for each side) and was hoping to get a name brand replacement.

G'day Mate and welcome to TBN from Downunder.

My Sister lives in Wallaceburg and there's an 'arrangement' whereby 'free-shipping in the US' goes to a local ferry terminal on the US side. It then gets loaded and dropped off on the Canadian side for a nominal fee. You pick it up at the shed and then walk it through Customs.

It works a treat!
