I am considering a JD 2032 and need a front mount snowblower. I did a quick measurement on the width of the rear tires (R4 I think) and thought that the width was in the 58" range. But I've seen some videos of 54" blowers on the 2032 and the rear tires seem to fit in the path that the blower clears. I will probably get the turf tires for the snow. I thought that I would need the 60" heavy duty blower with that A-frame attachment. I'd much rather get the 54" if it works well. Should be a bit lower cost also.

Anyone have experience with a 2032 or 2038 and the 54" blower?

Possibly your rims are turned out compared to what you have seen with other same model tractors. I would not consider a blower that was 4" narrower than the tractor footprint.

I have no issues running a front blower narrower than the turf track on the B7200.
When the snow is 2 feet deep, and coming over the top of the blower opening, I can't expect to not go fwd and back again to make a wide path.
It's really a whole lot less trouble than getting mired in deep snow 150 feet from anything clear. BTDT, No fun shoveling out under a stuck tractor.
Plus, I get impatient at the speed of forward progress through the snow when taking a full width bite.

I have the 2032's older and smaller brother, a 2720 with a 54" front blower.
If you buy it, you will be glad you did. I was very happy with mine.

Put some side-wings on the blower to scrape a few more inches into the auger. Estimate the width needed to include turning. Run wet tires on dry pavement to get the preferred blower width coverage. Maybe need a new (longer) scraper. But, keep in mind getting a 60" broom to handle snow. Mine will do the job easily with snow depths well above 6 inches. I put a 12" extension on the top nose flap to kick all the snow out farther and without dropping back in.

As mentioned on GTT:
The 59" (some call it 60") blower is what fits that machine. The 54" uses a completely different hitch setup and it is not compatible with the newer 2032/2038 machines.

The 'new' style 2032R/2038R is not a twin of your 2720, it's not even a close cousin!
Completely different everything! Yours made also made in Japan by Yanmar.

Your right and I fixed it. thanks
The horsepower is the same and it will handle the 54" blower with ease.
