I have a friend that built a custom root rake but when he plumbed it up to the front aux. hydraulics it would only work the top clamp in one direction. It closed O.K. but slow but would not open unless he barely cracked the valve with the lever. Are the front hydraulics only for one directional flow?

First thing to check is that the quick couplers are properly coupled. If one is not all the way coupled it will give those symtoms. Uncouple and recouple both and try again.

O.K. will check that out but if that is fine, then what next? This is a 2005 model and it has a lot of electronics on it. I guess a manual would help.
