Price Check 5254 Loader pricing

Hi Maveric,
I have been working on a deal for a 5234D w/FEL. A dealer I called in western NY said the loader was $2499 & $249 for a mounting kit so $2748. The dealer I am currently talking to said there is also a valve kit needed but gave me no cost for it. Is your price including installation?
While I am typing to someone with a 5000 series Cadet tell me if you have had an ground clearance problems with the rear axle. This is really the only unanswered question I have before buying the tractor. It seems like very little ground clearance compared to most tractors.

I got a price of $2700. Everything included except tax. $3400 is on the high side.

Thanks for the info on the pricing. That price was installed although I would install it myself. I've had no problem with ground clearence but I've only got about 25 hours on the tractor and have not been over any real rough ground. If you anticipate operating in rough ground you may check out the 6284D as it has larger tires but a hefty difference in price as well!!

I'm not sure how large of a tractor the 5xxx series is but suspect it to be a sub compact. $3400 sounds high to me. Have you given any thought of checking on a loader from the third party Co?
I recently purchased a Yanmar CUT and it came with the new KOYKER loader. Break away capacity is rated at 2800 lbs. Quick disconnet mounting and dealer said loader was $2500 of the purchase price of the tractor and mower I purchased. This was mounted price for the loader.
This might give you something to think about.
