Finally got the seat off, darn that thing was heavy, doesn't seem to be anymore damage. The switch on mine has six wires, thought it was seven, but only six. Guess I'll call deere in the morning to see if they have one or get it ordered. Thanks
I just had a JD 5500 which had 12volts at the battery but testing the positive cable coming out of the battery was 2 volts. Had to replace the positive cable. Worked fine since.

Went to john deere this morning and got switch, put it on and everything works fine. You know, mine was a six wire but I looked in the plug and it only uses four. Whatever, I'm just glad it's fixed. Thanks again for all the help.
