so you don't have any voltage between the negative battery post and frame ground?. have you tried a jumper cable from the battery cable on the solenoid to the small solenoid wire, to see if the starter will crank that way?. this kind of problem is definitely a bad connection somewhere.. also, who posted the wiring diagram, I don't see that attachment.. see where you are losing voltage along the battery cable. you could have a bad connection between the battery + and the rest of the tractor caused by a bad connection either between the battery posts and the battery terminal clamp, or the actual cable itself from a corroded terminal that looks fine, but is corroded, those wire terminals do go bad, especially if they use a plated steel connector..I woke this am thinking battery also. Nada. 12.4 v key off, 12.4 v key on, 7.4 volts at all locations between the solenoid through alternator.
