Hi everyone,

New Member Here and I have a pretty basic question about a 5035. How are the rear hydraulic remotes operated?

Should be the far right lever that is higher than the other 2 and it comes up through the fender I believe. Maybe read your owners manual???

Reading the owners manual is a great idea. Since i haven't bought a 5035, I don't own a manual! That makes it kinda hard to do. So I had a crazy idea to ask on line.

Welcome, timster! Lets see if I can be a little more friendly. I have a 2013, 5035 and the remote leaver is the short leaver down by the seat on the right side. It is a little hard to get to, but I am going to make an extention for mine when I get a chance.

What Make/Model of Tractor Do You Own?:

Did you not answer this question.

The answer is, you pull or push the remote valve lever.

You could order an owners manual so you will know how to operate the tractor before you even get it.

So your rear remote lever is not here?

I am in the market to buy a new tractor and I really like the 5035. I've been to the dealer and neglected to ask about the rear remotes. Looking at the brochures I see nothing about the rear remotes and I don't see any extra levers cept the one on the fender on some pictures. None of them are close enough to identify its intended purpose.

I think originally, the first rear remote lever was cable operated on the fender [ replaces that cup holder ]. But my 2011 has the 1st remote lever down beside the seat, just inboard of the 3pt levers. If you get the factory add on valves [ 2nd and 3rd rear remote ], they then are remote operated via cable, and the levers are located there in the cup holder area. With the actually valves/couplers in the right rear area. But, that's just my guess. You should be talking to your dealer that can call Chatanooga assembly and get the real story.

Technically...you can mount the control valve(s) anywhere there is room that allows access from the station and routing of the lines/hoses...A dealer will install the qd's and the valve(s) where their engineering directs them to fit their "kits"...

After market and or 3rd party parts are often less expensive and if you're capable of doing your own installation you can save enough $$ for an attachment or two...etc...

As I stated earlier, mine are factory mounted and are down by the righthand side of the seat on 2013 model. Short leaver down low. I have a Backhoe and the lines are connected to the factory rear remotes and on the installation a hook was added to keep the valve made to supply flow to the hoe.
