Sounds like my dealer when i got my 50 hours on my 3130DT it was like $550.00 and they even charged me for shop rags, With my 5030 i am going to do it my self.
Cheesehead, your prices seem right in line with the what I paid, except the dealer charges, I did it myself. I'm doing my 200 hour this week, about $130: 3 filters (oil, HST & hydraulic) and motor oil only. The good thing is that you don't have to change out your UDT again till hour 400!
Although I haven't made it to 50 hour service yet, my dealer told me around $300 as well. He does charge extra for the pickup / delivery, but offers 50% discount on it if you purchased the tractor from him. I plan on taking it to him myself, as he is about 45 minutes away. Even with the 50% off, it is still alot of money.

Is your 5030 different than the smaller tractors? It is hard to change HST and Hydraulic filters without losing oil from the transmission. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
My dealer strongly recommends the 50 hour service. The deal they offer is that they either give me the supplies and I can do it myself, or I can buy the supplies and they will send a tech out and do the service for free. My plan is to have them come out, watch like a hawk and do the second one myself. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

That's a good price. I did my 50-hour service on my BX and just fluids and filters ran me $116. I did get 5 gallons of SUDT so I have almost enough to do the 100-hr service (and also made the mistake of buying Kubota oil at #3.14/qt).

Done it myself both times on my BX23.
Cost between 60 and and 75 bucks for S-udt filters & oil.

I have a b7800. The dealer's service department quoted me $600 for pickup/delivery, & service. I asked to be transferred to parts. They quoted me a little over $100 for UDT fluid, oil, & the 3 filters. I serviced it myself. I think $600 for the service should have included a hooker!

I've neve paid over 75 dollars for fluids and filters.
Paying a dealer $50 to $100 to do the same thing on my tractor that Wall Mart does for 5 bucks on my car don't sound like such a hot deal to me.
BTW It don't cost me $40 to $60 to get the car to Wall Mart and back either.
