Thomas...

Anyone else.../w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif I would question those dollars $$$... some of those figures are phenomenal... they certainly are atypical auction prices...

I know they are "cheaper" angle iron rakes... but I believe the rear wheels would run $180-220. alone... without the rake.../w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif

I wonder if they perhaps had some "insiders" making these fabulous buys... I would be interested in taking the day off and driving to their next auction event... so please if you can remember... give me a little notice (24hrs.)... and I'll see you at their next auction... /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Mark,
Is that the voice of experience speaking about the garden hose?? /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Jerry,
Thomas is actually the "resident expert" on "unfortunate mishaps" with said "irrigation devices".
I have yet to experience such an OooPs !! and hopefully never will.
I just couldn't resist, razzing him a little /w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif

Mark,
To kinda tell on myself.......I was mowing yesterday and one of the pool pump hoses had been dropped in the yard last fall, unbeknownst to me, and the grass was so high.........well you know the rest of the story. I need to visit Lowes and get some more hose. I did stop when I saw one of the dog's cables left out in the yard by my son. BEFORE I hit it. THAT would have been a mess to untangle.

John,
Everything had to go at the auction.

We saw lic plates from NY,VT,NH,ME,Mass,CT. cars hauling trailers.pick up flat beds, tractor traliers etc..

One guy would buy lot than turn around sell each item w/out leaving the grounds and made some $$$...lot of wheeling and dealing goes on there.

The last Saturday in April when the auction always take place..one per year. /w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif

Thomas...

Approximately how far is this dealership from the Albany, NY area...?

I'll be there next year.../w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

(may have to hire a tractor trailer to haul it all back though.../w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif)
