I need to buy a 5' box blade and would like some opinions on who makes the best ones would be appreciated. I've only looked at King Kutter, and I see a brand new Howse for sale in a local paper. I'll be using it behind my Kubota B2400 and am sometimes a little rough on my equipment. Any info. would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have a woods GB60" for my John Deere and is very heavy, thick steel, cuts deep but is expensive.

I also have a 4foot king cutter for my yanmar, it is good but light. I had to weld a 4foot piece of railroad track to give it some extra weight.

Go with the heaviest one you can afford.

I have the 80 inch gearmore hydraulic. Seems I remember it to be about 800lbs. Good advice from akajun.

When I was Box Blade shopping I was looking for a heavy/sturdy BB, with captured lower links, and scarifiers that could be adjusted with my gloves on. LandPride, Woods, and Bushhog met my requirements. I chose the Woods GB60. Jay :)
