4X20 grease issue

Greetings: I have a 4520 that according to the manual should have grease fittings on the steering cylinder. The tie rod has fittings, but the cylinder does not. I have not chipped away the paint to inspect, but I don't even see a plug to remove to install them as per the pict. Does anyone have fittings ?

When I took delivery of my 2006 model year 4520 in February, the service manager was giving me a tour of all the grease points. When we got to the front of the machine he was surprised to find the changes you mention on the steering cylinder.

So I'd guess this is a recent modification from JD, unless your tractor is an older one; if that's the case then I dunno! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

In any case, my 4520 has the same setup as yours...
