4940C For Mowing

I am thinking about a new 4940c. Anyone know if it will handle a 8' Kodiak (bush hog style) mower in HEAVY grass?

You might be a little under powered. But if you go slow enough it will work.

I have a 5740C and use a 7' HD cutter. It will go through anything if I am goinf slow enough. I mow most pasture areas in 1-Hi. If I am cutting thickets or areas of saplings I have to do it in 1-Lo or 2-Lo.

If this helps, we have a heavy 7' JD bush hog with hydraulics that we pull with the draw bar. It pulls fine behind a Montana 4940 open cab over some pretty hilly trrain with fescue and brush.
