Looking at 2 tractors, a 4835 with 3000+hrs($17250) and a tn70d with 1800 hrs.($23250) They are both equipped close to the same.(mfd, loader, cab, ect) My question which do you think is abetter deal? Is there any major differences between the two? I plan on using the tractor to cut rake and bale hay, along with plowing snow with a front mount plow. Thanks Todd

The 4835 is a heavier tractor, more closely related to the TL than the TN. It is also a 4 cyl. vs 3 cyl. in the TN.

The 4835 has a multiple disc wet PTO clutch. The 4835 is a flat deck tractor with much better visibility than the TN. If the 4835 has never had a new main clutch, it may be getting close to needing one. If the condition of these tractors is comparable, I'd probably swallow the extra 1200 hours, bank the $5K and buy the 4835.
