Who makes the 48 hoe for Deere?

I believe Ameriquip makes it for deere. The 48 B.H. is the same as the Pro 850 B.H. for the skid steers.

The 48 backhoe is made in Canada by John Deere at the McClellan Works.
The compact tractor loaders are made there also.

When I got my tractor the loader had a label that read Welland Works,, Canada, the backhoe said JD, Debuque Iowa. Of course, I could be wrong....

I double checked the hoe is labeled "Made in USA" and Dubuque, Iowa.

Which could still easily be oem'd by a supplier, like Ameriquip....

Most of Deeres attachments are from outside manufacturers.

For the compacts that is true but the bigger tractors and tillage equipment deere makes most of their own.

I would bet that they actually completely make the hoe in iowa since that is where the ones off the 110 tlb come from and the loader for the 110 comes from ontario canada.

The 48 Hoe and the 110 hoe are two comletley different units. When I was at the Augusta plant for training they told us the 47 & 48 hoes were made by Ameriquip for them, and that was why they were having so many problems with bad hoses and bent cylinders. Deere makes the 110 hoe.
