I run a 48" Farm Star cutter (equivalent to a King Kutter) behind my BX2200 and it runs it great. A friend of mine runs a Woods 48" behind his BX2200 and it runs it well, but bogs the tractor on startup more than my Farm Star does.

I prefer the 48" to the 42" because it covers the tracks.

Several here are running 48'' with no problems.
